This Monday on Usapang Media ng NUJP sa DWAD: State of the Campus Press
This Monday, September 10, Jose Cosido, president
of the College Editors Guild of the Philippines will discuss the state
of the campus press in the Philippines with segment host Danilo Arao,
a journalism professor of the University of the Philippines, member of
the board of editors of Bulatlat, and columnist of Pinoy Weekly.
The topics to be discussed are the upcoming journalism skills training by the Department of Education, Republic Act 7079 or the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the harassment experienced by student journalists, and the issue of campus journalists as legitimate members of the press.
"Usapang Media ng NUJP" is a regular segment in Ricky Lee's daily program, "Ano Ba'ng Atin Kabayan", and is broadcasted by dwAD 1098 khz, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. every Monday.
